Four reasons why you should work with a full-service brokerage.
Today I’ll talk about full-service brokerage services versus discount brokerage services, or as we call it, full service versus limited service. It certainly sounds attractive when these companies offer the same service for 1-3% less. However, here are four points you want to consider before making a decision:
1. Exposure and resources. At Shorewest Realtors, we have a thousand agents that will compete for a 25% bonus to sell your home. That’s why we sell a higher percentage of our listings than any other company. We also have access to relocation buyers moving here from other states that other companies don’t.

2. Professionalism and availability. It’s often the case that when we want to show these discount brokerages listings, they’re not in their office or answering their phones. In fact, many of these discount brokerages don’t work in the evenings or on the weekends at all. They’re very inaccessible, while in most cases, we’re available 24/7.
3. Negotiation skills and experience. Many of these other companies have agents with very little experience, and their negotiating skills aren’t very good. We get 2% to 5% more for homes than the other companies because of our experience and skill.
4. Results. Our company outsold these discount brokerage services five-to-one. If their service was really as good as they say, wouldn’t more people use them?
